Founded in Stockholm in 2011 by Christopher Barnekow and Pontus Silfverstolpe, two passionate art buyers, with the goal to « democratize » the access to the auction market and to make it reach a larger audience. Barnebys is the encounter between a market of traditional art and innovations linked to the internet.
The online platform allows you to search by category or by using specific terms and names, so whether you’re looking for something specific or just browsing you will be find the help you need.
Barnebys partners with some of the biggest auction houses in the world, such as Sotheby’s, Christies or Heritage Auctions, and today Barnebys’s services helps 450+ auction houses and effectively manages their lead generation and brand enhancement.
